When permanent teeth are lost, regardless of the reason or number of
teeth, dental implants can offer a “new lease on life.” They
are superior to other choices because they are solid, secure, and esthetic.
After nearly 35 years of use, they have a 90-95% proven success rate
in appropriately chosen cases.
An implant is a special surgical grade titanium post, manufactured
to highly precise specifications, under strict sterile conditions, that
is inserted surgically into the jawbone below the gum surface. With proper
use of the newest anesthetics and medications you need not be concerned
about pain. As the bone bonds to the post, it forms a secure foundation
onto which your new teeth are then attached and shaped to match your
mouth. The number of teeth being replaced will determine the best kind
of restoration for you. Implants can help replace a single tooth, or
a full set of teeth. If you have been suffering with partial or full
dentures, or are missing teeth, or feel you need teeth extracted, do
not hesitate to call to be evaluated for implants.
The coDiagnostix® System
Developed to plan fast, safe and extremely precise implant insertions, coDiagnostiX software is the latest technology in implant dentistry. The three-dimensional software, combined with the patient's CT scan, allows the doctor and laboratory, in-conjunction, to measure and plan implant placement, as well as any necessary bone grafting, prior to surgery day. Surgical guides, based on the plans, are fabricated by Implant Solutions, to ensure the doctor extremely precise placement, thus resulting in longer longevity and more aesthetically pleasing implants.
The software coDiagnostiX® facilitates the exact planning of dental implants. The entire planning process is performed directly on the PC of the dentist or dental labs. There is no processing necessary. Especially important is the complete three-dimensional planning, which offers you complete new views. Use them to increase the planning safety and also for the argumentation in the patient conversation. All available implants are deposited graphically in the integrated implant data base and can be sorted hierarchically for a fast selection. The system is able to manage as many plans as desired for every patient. So most different propositions can be elaborated.
After the actual planning the laboratory and the dentist take a vote on the propositions and so the best one can be chosen. Based on this decision, the dental laboratory produces the drill templates. The software coDiagnostiX® is easy to use and distinguishes itself by high computing speed and small hardware requirements.
Advantages to Using the coDiagnostiX System
Quick process- All planning done prior to surgery day- no guesswork and surprises in the end. Appliance fabrication completed in the U.S. resulting in quick turn around time
Safety- Less risk for patient and doctor as all vital structures are visible in the design and planning stages, may measure bone density, distance between structures, etc. Surgical guide consists of drilling tubes to ensure exact placement of implant insertions.
High Precision- Extremely accurate and precise implant placement
Better aesthetics and increased longevity- More aesthetically pleasing/natural looking teeth and greater functionality resulting in longer lasting implants, due to precise placement.
